Max Q™4450 combines incubated or refrigerated temperature with an orbital shaker. The model with analogue operating system has a DC motor and variable speed control from 40 to 400 min⁻¹, is controlled by a rotary dial. An integrated tachometer monitors and displays speed in min⁻¹ to guarantee an accurate setting. The shaker can be used in continuous mode or the timer set from 1 to 60 minutes for time studies. Easy to read LED digital temperature display.

Models with digital operating system have solid-state DC brushless motor, variable speed control from 15 to 500 min⁻¹, and continuous and timed operation from 0,1 up to 999,9 h or 0,1 to 99,9 min. Visual/audible signals alert user to temperature deviations. Heat unit turns off if the temperature deviates ±1 °C from set point. Shaker shut down and audible/visual alarms signal if unit operates ±10% of set speed, preventing shaker from moving along bench. Soft start feature eliminates splashing of vessel contents, wetting of flask closure, and helps prevent sudden starts and stops. Set point retention retains parameters during power failure and restarts unit automatically after power is restored. Visual/audible alarms alert you to temperature deviations. Heat turns off if temperature deviates ±1 °C of set point.
