High Growth Enhancement Medium is a modification of DMEM in which 3,6 g/L fructose is substituted for glucose, resulting in better pH control and higher cell yields. Fructose is metabolised slower than glucose, resulting in slower acid build up. This media is recommended for the growth and support of cells on microcarrier matrices.
